Nestled in the Kitzbühel Alps, Niederau is located in the Wildschönau valley (literally translates to Wild and Beautiful), which stretches over 24 km; with no through traffic, no industry, just rich, unspoilt mountain scenery and lots of Tyrolean tradition.
Haus Ella and Haus Karin are situated in the heart of the village of Niederau, close to all the amenities and the main gondola station is 5 minutes walk away. The chalets and the resort are especially suited to families and groups of mixed abilities and ages, particularly as the gondola allows less active/mobile and small children to enjoy the mountains at their best.
The chalets have been beautifully furnished and decorated throughout, creating a luxuriously cosy mountain atmosphere. Enjoying a lovely, sunny location, the chalets are built in a typical Tyrolean style with no less than 110 m2 of living space and will appeal to those wanting a comfortable, welcoming `home from home' atmosphere combined with easy access to all that Niederau and the Wildschönau valley have to offer.
Each chalet accommodates 2-6 people; the spacious ground floor is partly open plan. The open area consists of a fully fitted kitchen/living/dining room, with SAT-TV, DVD player, telephone and free broadband internet connection. The kitchen is equipped with all the modern appliances. The separate utility/boiler room with washing machine is roomy enough to dry out boots and ski gear and there is also a shower room with a WC and wash hand basin.
The first floor has three charmingly furnished bedrooms (two with double beds and one with two singe beds); the two double bedrooms also open out onto a southwest facing balcony. There is another bathroom with bath/shower and a separate WC with wash hand basin. The decor is tasteful and the use of wooden floors and under floor heating throughout contributes greatly to the more intimate, cosy feeling of the chalets.
Enjoy great views of the surrounding mountains from the southwest facing landscaped gardens and terraces, with dining table, chairs and loungers. There is also space to park two cars, one undercover in a carport attached to each chalet.
Please note, the chalets have a non smoking policy. The price does include all running costs, linen and towels. A travel cot and high chair can also be supplied free of charge.
